Thanks for stopping by and submitting your poem.

I love that you said that pain is a part of ...

It is a part of who we are. Pain, anger, rage, hatred ... all deemed "negative" feelings. We're told very early on in our lives that these feelings aren't acceptable to have so we shove them way down, hiding them from the world. These feelings never get fully felt or processed so they bind us. It's like putting us in a straight jacket or quicksand where we get stuck and can't move.

It's so important to own these feelings and surrender to them in a responsible way ... a way that you are able to safely process them and release them. Once you do, the weight will be lifted and you'll make more room for joy and happiness.
