I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. Somehow I missed this. I hope you are feeling much better than when you wrote this.

I totally get your frustration. It's tough enough to be suffering with depression and its only amplified when you can't find help.

In Canada there are a few resources you can start with. Here is a list.

  • Canadian Mental Health Association

  • Depression Hurts

  • Defeat Depression This page has a whole list of Canadian resources that help people with depression.

You can search the internet for "depression help in canada" or other related search terms and you'll find a lot of information.

Do you have a support network? Is there anybody you feel safe talking to? Confiding in?

Also, comsider some other things that might help such as exercise, journaling, writing poems, music, etc.

Depression is something that so many people suffer with around the world. It is of epidemic proportions. However, please know you are not alone, there is help and you can find appropriate treatment so you can begin to heal and build a happier, more fulfilling life.

I pray that you are able to find the help and support that you need.

I wish you all the best,

    Dana
