Depression Poems: The climb

by Kala Brookes

Life is a climb

You will get past it if you try
Climb until you drop
Don't give up on yourself
If you drop, ou wont finish
And if you don't finish, you wont know what life would bring
Believe me if you do
The climb
You will come to success in
The climb
But you will have ups and downs
And you will want to go back and change everything
You can't change your life
But from when you started
The climb
You cant go back
But you can change the future
Just reach for your goals and complete life
And complete......
The climb

Kala,

What a beautiful poem. You are very talented and have shared such a wonderful ray of hope to other visitors who need to know they are not alone.

I am very happy to see that you, yourself, have found hope! As you say in your poem, you can't change the past, you can only change the course of your future so don't ever give up. Find the amazing person that you are, believe in yourself and have the courage to stand tall. You are in charge of your destiny. Reach out, find support and never give up!

Thanks for sharing Kala! Feel free to share your poem with others by giving them a link to this page as well!

This poem is amazing isn't it? It is about the struggle with depression and having the courage to face it head on, believe in yourself and get through it. It's about facing the climb and ending up in a better place.

She did a great job on this poem. So heartfelt! I really appreciate it when my visitors share a part of themselves with others. It helps to give us all inspiration at times when we think we won't find it.

Glad you enjoyed it! I'm sure Kala is glad as well!
