Abilify Side Effects

Abilify side effects vary in severity from person to person. Based on studies that have been done the effects can be categorized as Common, Less Common, and Rare.
Common Side Effects
The most common experiences are usually very mild in nature, with a few exceptions, and include the following:
Dizziness
Drowsiness
Restlessness
Head aches
Difficulty sleeping
Constipation
Nausea and/or vomiting
Feeling anxious

Less Common Side Effects
The experiences are less common and include, but are not limited to, the following:
Less Severe
Congestion / nasal inflammation
Joint and muscle aches
Loss of energy / feeling weak
Feelings of nervousness
Unexplained cough
More Severe
Involuntary quivering
Involuntary facial movements
Reaction of Extrapyramidal Tracts
The Extrapyramidal Tract is the neural pathways outside of the pyramidal tracts. The pathways outside of the pyramidal tracts include nerve pathways in the brain that are primarily concerned with coordination and reflex movement.

Rare Side Effects
There are several rare effects of taking the medication that are listed below:
Less Severe
Blurred vision
Noticeable weight loss (loss of appetite) / weight gain
Difficulty breathing
Dry mouth
Excessive saliva
Loose Stools
Abnormal gait when walking
Stomach cramping
More Severe
Again, these are rareside effects but something to be aware of nonetheless
Allergic reactions
Neuroleptic Malingnant Syndrome
Pneumonia
Seizures
Difficulty with body movements
Tough time swallowing
Sinus infection
Diabetes
Suicidal thoughts
There are several more but again, they are very rare.
